Cristiano Ronaldo now has 50 goals for the season

Cristiano Ronaldo gets his name on the score sheet and keeps up his goal scoring exploits. The Portuguese forward, who is the leading goal scorer in the Champions League, has scored in eight consecutive games and reached 50 for the season with the two he netted against Athletic. He has scored 31 in the league, while 11 have come in the European Cup, six in the Copa del Rey and two in the Spanish Super Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo provided another goal scoring display at San Mamés and after recording his second consecutive brace in barely five days, he has now hit the half century mark for the season. The Portuguese forward, who has scored in eight consecutive games, is also the leading scorer from free-kicks still currently playing with 12 and the only player in the history of the club to score 11 goals in a single Champions league campaign.
